View Menu

The view menu provides display options for XVIS. These are generally not image manipulation routines or filters.

The Zoom option selects the magnification of the active image window. The image is naturally 256 by 256 pixels and can be magnified by a factor of 1, 2 or 3. The image is bilinearly interpolated when magnified.

The Edit Color Bar option invokes an interactive controller for the colorbar.

The View Uncompressed Values displays the image without first compressing the data.

The Date Format option controls the way the time stamp is displayed in the main control window. The options should be self-explanatory.

The Transpose option transposes the image.

The Flip Vertical option reverses the order of the images columns.

The Flip Horizontal option reverses the order of the images rows.

The Redraw option is used to redraw the image. This should only be necessary if the active image window is destroyed via the window manager.
