TRACERS - Magnetic Search Coil (MSC)

Each TRACERS spacecraft carries an MSC instrument for measuring magnetic field osculations from 2 Hz up to 1.024 kHz.  MSC compliments EFI (Electric Field Instrument) as their combined measurements are able to distinguish electromagnetic and electrostatic waves in Earth's Magnetosphere.  The MSCs are pure analog sensors and have no digital sampling electronic of their it's own, but rather their output is measured by ADCs (Analog to Digital Converters) on the EFI digital boards.
