EFI Modes
The POLAR Electric Field Instrument (EFI) has the capability of putting the
6 spheres in one of two modes-- voltage or current. Since launch until the
present all 6 spheres have been in the voltage mode with the exception of the
following times during which spheres 3 and 4 (Ev antenna spheres) were put
in the current mode:
April 5, 1996 from 1540 to 1544:30
April 21, 1996 from 0015 to 0415
April 28, 1996 at 1526 to April 29, 1996 at 0900
October 18, 1996 at 2231 to October 23, 1996 at 1015
May 13, 1997 at 2330 to May 21, 1997 at 1139
September 23, 1997 at 1850 to September 25, 1997 at 0614
