  65. W010 Amateur Radio Special Event Station: Say Hi To Juno with Morse Code During Juno's Earth Flyby, Don Kirchner, Bill Robison, Tony Rogers, and Henry Wroblewski. Don Kircher and Bill Robison set up an amateur radio station on the roof of Van Allen Hall. During the day of the Juno Earth flyby (Oct. 9, 2013), amateur radio operators, student groups, and interested members of the community (60 participants) were invited to transmit morse code "Hi" from Earth to Juno. During this event, contacts were made with 364 stations, in 17 countries and 40 U.S. states. Packets of information were distributed locally and to off-site radio operators.
