XV - The Image Viewer

This XV release kit is a Zip archive ready for building on OpenVMS VAX or Alpha. It has been tested under DEC C up to about v6.x and then Compaq C to at least v6.4. It has been tested up to OpenVMS v7.3 and Motif v1.2-5.

The 15 Jan 2002 releasse addresses an issue with XV when trying to use it to put an image on the CDE DECWindows root window.

It is essentially the same as the official kit available at John Bradley's, but has all the patches applied and is OpenVMS-ready for compiling.
