Trigger 3C ( High Resolution HFR )
This trigger is designed to provide HFR data at its highest
spectral resolution. Data acquisition continues for the LFR,
MFR, and WFR. The HFR mode is detailed below.
Receiver |
Frequency Range |
Sensor |
Cycle Time |
Snapshot Size |
LFR |
1 - 25 Hz |
EX, BX |

MFR |
25 Hz - 12 KHz |
EX, BZ |

HFR |
3.6 KHz - 16 MHz |
EX, EW |

The HFR is in high spectral resolution mode . No direction-finding is done.
This mode is defined by:
Correlations Channels Integ. Size Frequency
Band Ant. Auto- Cross- per Band df Period Rep Steps kHz Start - Stop
---- ---- ----- ------ -------- -- ------ --- ----- ---- ------------
ABC 2E y y 32 n 1000 1 3.6-319 kHz
H1 2E y y 8 n 160 1 79 50 125k-4.0MHz
H2 1E y y 8 n 80 1 243 50 4.0M-16.1MHz
Bands ABC require 3.12 sec to complete, H1 requires 13.9 sec, and H2 requires 21.75 sec
for a total of 38.8 sec per sweep. Data collection and output limits the snapshot
time to about 42 seconds.
