The online errata list can be found on the World Wide Web at http://www.igpp.ucla.edu/cgi-bin/ditdos?errata=CORPWS_0XXX General disclaimer: =================== All trademarks are acknowledged as the property of their respective owners. The producers and publishers of this archive do not endorse any commercial entities which may be mentioned for clarity. Variances applying to all volumes: ================================== The files AUTORUN.INF and SHRUN.INF appear in the root directory of these volumes in order to provide an automatic method to launch the user's default web browser and load the AAREADME.HTM document upon insertion of the DVD in compatible Microsoft Windows systems. This functionality is purely for convenience and is not required. A freeware license for the program EXTRAS/SHELLRUN.EXE, copyright PHD Computer Consultants Ltd, U.K., was obtained from http://www.phdcc.com/. Human-friendly ASCII text versions of some documents in the DOCUMENT directory are not yet available due to the evolution of those documents and the difficulty in automatically translating them into usable plain text versions. These include RPWSCAL, describing instrument calibrations, and RPWSUG, describing instrument operations. These are currently available only in PDF form but will be provided in ASCII form in the future. The instrument description paper is not currently available but will be provided in the future after it is published in Space Science Reviews and permission is obtained from the copyright holder, Kluwer Academic Publishers. HTML markup files and thumbnail images are included under the top level BROWSE directory in order to facilitate navigating these directories with a web browser. Except for the top thumbnail index file for each directory, all of these ancillary files are segregated to subdirectories named HTML in order to minimize directory clutter when browsing the primary image files with other tools. Since these HTML files are produced in concert with the browse images, we elected to maintain them in the same directory structure rather than segregating them under the EXTRAS directory. An HTML link to http://validator.w3.org/check/referer is associated with the "Valid HTML 3.2" image at the bottom of HTML documents. This link provides a mechanism for checking conformance of the document to HTML standards, but will work only if the document is being viewed via a web-accessible (e.g. http:) URI. If the file is accessed as a local file system reference (e.g. file:) URI, then, of course, the remote validation service will not be able to access the file in order to check it. The EXTRAS/SEQUENCE_INFO directory contains instrument sequence information similar to that under DATA/ANCILLARY but in HTML browser-searchable form. This is a snapshot of a working directory, and as such, contains information beyond the time range of individual archive volumes. Also, files beyond the end time of the current volume may not be in their final form and errors such as broken links may exist. Cumulative errata for the CORPWS_0xxx volume set: ================================================= Volume Error/Variance Description ------ ---------------------------------------------------------------- 0001 None known. 0002 None known. 0001-0156 All BROWSE/RPWS_KEY_PARAMETERS and BROWSE/RWPS_LOW_RATE_FULL *.PNG files were updated and replaced in September 2011.
