Hawk-Eyes on Science

The University of Iowa booth at the 2003 Iowa State Fair featured academics, research, service, and other organized activities. The University of Iowa Department of Physics and Astronomy presented the "Hawk-Eyes on Science" exhibit between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m., August 14, 2003.

Tom Boggess, Julie Dowell, George Hospodarsky, Ann Persoon, Cheryl Reardon, and Lifi Somantri provided demonstrations and explanations of hands-on physics experiments, as well as dispensing information regarding departmental classes, research, and outreach programs.
